Yuzvendra Chahal and Dhanashree Verma Officially Part Ways
According to reports, Indian cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal and his wife, Dhanashree Verma, have officially divorced.Speculation about their breakup had been making rounds on social media for several months.
Both had shared cryptic posts online, hinting at their split. However, neither of them publicly addressed the issue or revealed the possible reasons behind their decision.Now, it has been confirmed that the couple’s final court hearing and all necessary legal formalities were completed on Thursday at the Bandra Family Court, where both were physically present.
Counseling Session Before Divorce
As per a report by ABP News, the judge advised the couple to undergo a counseling session, which lasted around 45 minutes. After the session, they informed the judge that they mutually agreed to part ways.It was also revealed that Chahal and Dhanashree had been living separately for the past 18 months. When questioned about the cause of their divorce, the couple stated that they faced challenges with compatibility.
At around 4:30 PM on Thursday, the judge officially granted them a divorce.

Just before the final hearing, Chahal shared an emotional post on social media:
“I couldn’t possibly keep track of how many times God has rescued me.”So, I can only imagine how many times He has saved me without me even realizing it. Thank you, God, for always being there, even when I don’t see it. Amen.”Meanwhile, Dhanashree also posted a message about faith on her Instagram account:
“From stress to blessings.”Isn’t it incredible how God transforms our struggles and anxieties into blessings?”
